This one is for those with a sweet tooth – discover Oxford Street’s line up of cakes, pastries, doughnuts, cookies, cheesecake (and much more!) in the heart of the West End. Whether you’re after a pit stop whilst shopping, or simply want to discover the latest trends in the world of desserts – follow our sweet treat trail and dig in!

1. LAVO

Famous for their 20 layer chocolate cake, a visit to LAVO is a must for any hardcore sweet treat lover. Indulge in a rich and decadent slice of chocolate heaven…once you’ve had this, all of your cakes will need to have at least 20 layers, nothing else will do!

2. Krispy Kreme

Ideal for a shopping break, head to Krispy Kreme’s flagship on Oxford Street and tuck into their deliciously sweet and fluffy doughnuts. Warm and freshly baked doughnuts are hot off the conveyor belt, so be sure to ask the team for one of the bestsellers and all time favourite – the Original Glazed…and why not grab a coffee for the perfect pairing!

3. Ole & Steen

The Danish are known for their pastries, and Ole & Steen showcases the very best of Danish sweet treat innovation. Embrace the feeling of hygge and savour every bite of their soft and freshly baked pastries. Don’t miss the Cinnamon Social, a rectangle of sweet treat heaven on a plate – layered pastry dough, delicate cinnamon filling and a drizzle of icing sugar. Ole & Steen claim that these are designed to be shared, but we prefer to have one to ourselves – they are that yummy!

4. Whipped at Market Halls

With a strong line up of sweet treats, visit Whipped with a group of friends, get one of everything and share a selection of delightful desserts. From cookies, cakes, soft serve and cheesecakes – you’ll be sure to enter a sugar high here. The blueberry cheesecake gets our vote, a buttery biscuit base, topped with a light and fluffy cheesecake and blueberry drizzle – outrageously tasty!

5. Blondie’s Kitchen

Located at Selfridges Foodhall, Blondie’s Kitchen offers delectable delights. Known for their irresistible handcrafted cookies and brownies. Every treat is baked to perfection using only the finest ingredients, resulting in gooey cookies and rich, chocolatey brownies. For us, you have to order the chocolate chip cookie – a classic done spectacularly well!

6. Lavazza Coffee

Name something better than a coffee and a cake…well Lavazza Coffee has both! Visit their London flagship to sample the best of Italian coffee alongside cakes and pastries. If it’s not too much coffee, try the coffee cake – made using Lavazza’s

7. The Corner Restaurant

With great views over Oxford Street, book a window table at Jackson Boxer’s restaurant above Selfridges and polish off top notch classic French desserts such as the chocolate and hazelnut choux bun, or if chocolate isn’t your thing (we don’t know why it wouldn’t be – but you never know)…try the pistachio and raspberry mille feuille – impressively thin layers of pastry with sweet cream. Simply divine.
