The neon sign at the entrance to Market Hall West End says everything you need to know about the UK’s largest food hall: ‘Stairway to Food Heaven’. For months we have been denied arguably the best street food in the country, but no more ladies and gentlemen, because as of Monday 17th May, Market Hall is reopening. Hip hip hooray!
Its three floors of food paradise include 11 food vendors, a roof terrace, four bars and over 1,000 seats to devour your chosen meal at ease. Some of the hottest names in street food are based here such as Good Birds, who specialise in rotisserie chicken, Pastaio, who create decadent pasta and Super Tacos, who make, well, super tacos.
For the first time Market Hall will also have seats outdoors just off Oxford Street, so you barely even have to step away from the buzz of London’s busiest high street to get your mouth around some great food.
