Oxford Street Christmas Lights

To London with love is a heart-warming poem in tribute to all the amazing acts of kindness displayed up and down the country and across the world during the pandemic.
Special for 2020, our Christmas lights shine the spotlight on the unsung heroes, those who have given selflessly to those most in need during the pandemic. Each week a UK hero sees their name in lights on Oxford Street for 7 days and YOU get to nominate your 2020 hero for their chance to be featured and recognised for their contribution. They also win a £500 gift card for their favourite Oxford Street shop. Here’s how you can nominate your hero and give the gift of gratitude and help us spread love #our2020heroes campaign.
The first name in our Christmas lights was Anis Ali, a NHS Volunteer Responder, nominated by Royal Voluntary Service. NHS Volunteer Responders was set up at the start of the pandemic to complement the work done by NHS and social care staff in supporting those most at risk from the virus.
