7 lunchtime spots for your next lunch break

Oxford Street has all of your lunch time needs sorted with a range of restaurants offering quick bites, cafe staples and midday deals. With the West End being one of the largest office areas in London, check out our roundup of options in the area.

1. Market Halls

With 9 street food vendors and a relaxed atmosphere, Market Halls is perfect for a bite to eat during your lunch break. Come here with colleagues or solo and enjoy food from around the globe. 2. Amalfi

4. Benugo

Located on the first and second floors of John Lewis, Benugo offers freshly made sandwiches, salads, cakes, scones and drinks. The first floor is a smaller unit, and is the ideal spot when in a rush – great for grab and go options. If you have more time, head to the second floor and settle into the welcoming cafe whilst enjoying a cup of coffee and a sarnie – we love to keep it simple for lunch every now and again.

5. Ole & Steen

A Danish bakery in the heart of the West End, Ole & Steen on Wigmore Street has a yummy selection of baked goods. Eat like the Scandinavians and enjoy an open sandwich – the Smoked Salmon Open Rye is delish, as is the Tarragon Chicken Open Rye and finish your lunch off properly with a Danish pastry. 6. Selfridges foodhall

On the ground floor of Selfridges you will find their foodhall. With supermarket staples as well as deli counters, this is a great option for lunch. With a wide range of options, there is something to satisfy all of your lunchtime cravings. From takeaway options include fresh pasta from La Tua Pasta, salad boxes from Honi Poke, and sandwiches from the fresh food counter, as well as dine in options such as The Brass Rail, Yo!
