Where to grab a burger for National Burger Day…

21 August 2024

We know we don’t need an excuse to have a burger, but National Burger Day is right up our street…take a break from shopping and celebrate with juicy patties and all the toppings at our selection of restaurants close to Oxford Street.

Fried chicken heaven

Market Halls is a street food concept just off Oxford Street and offers diners international cuisine from a range of restaurants. For National Burger Day the place to eat is 20ft Fried Chicken. With a reputation as the best place for succulent and crispy fried chicken burgers, 20ft Fried Chicken is the sister restaurant to Black Bear Burgers. Their menu is mouth-wateringly tempting, and their lunch deal includes a burger, fries and drink for £15.50. The Big Chill featuring their signature fried chicken, fermented chilli hot sauce, spice seasoning, ranch, shredded iceberg and pickles gets our vote!

A burger with a view

Madera is located on the 15th floor of The Treehouse Hotel and has spectacular views over the West End. A Mexican inspired restaurant, Madera’s take on a burger offers the flavours of central America. Choose from beef or fried chicken, their spin on a burger includes chipotle mayo, black beans and avocado.

Burgers can be fancy too…

Berners Tavern at The London EDITION offers a decadent option for National Burger Day. Their dining room is grand and stately, with paintings adorning the walls and a chandelier all setting the scene. Order the aged burger with pulled BBQ pork in a brioche bun, with their famous Churchill sauce and fries and thank us later.

And don’t forget the icon

The golden arches are synonymous with burgers and National Burger Day wouldn’t be the same without a visit to McDonald’s – the home of the Big Mac and other legendary burgers. Idea for a quick pit stop whilst on a shopping trip, McDonald’s never disappoints and their rangr of burgers has something for everyone – the purists, the adventurous types and the spice lovers.
