Gap Launches In Store Lion Coffee & Records Pop Up
Gap’s flagship store is bringing East London’s unique social hub – Lion Coffee & Records to its customers in the heart of the West End. With an exclusive pop up on the ground floor, Gap + Lion will offer a cool place to relax, drink coffee, buy records, and enjoy music from London’s emerging talent.
Lion Coffee + Records is the brainchild of Music Manager and Record label owner Mairead Nash and Florence & the Machine Drummer, Christopher L Hayden. Both, wanted to create a platform to nurture the city’s burgeoning musical talent and through their desire to bring East London community together through art and music they opened Lion Coffee + Records in Hackney in 2014.
This very special pop will bring the informality of the independent coffee shop back to Oxford Street, with coffee provided by Shoreditch’s Allpress, and food sourced from local independent traders.
